ABC Embroidered Quilt : SOLD

This is my first ABC Embroidered letter quilt & I couldn't have asked for a more perfect quilt for a child. Each panel is embroidered with letter and then complimented with either animal or object to match.  When its time for bed, I can imagine this quilt instigating discussions and talks about how it was made, letters, animals and reminiscing memories.  The front panel is all hand dyed, with blue being indigo and caramel, merbau.

Commissions are open for a similar quilt and I say similar as all quilts made by Pip Textiles are as individual as us.

A quilt to cherish and pass down over the years.

• Using only natural fibers
• Using natural dyes; indigo & merbau
• Backing using remnants commercial 100% linen 
• Single bed size
• Hand quilted
• Hand embroidery, red thread outlining boxes
• Able to wash on gentle cycle in cold water only; machine or by hand, lay flat to dry
• Cotton/bamboo batting
• For longevity keep away from direct sunlight

Embroidered memories, quotes or dates are encouraged & can be added on request. Being handmade there will be slight imperfections, but we look at these as adding character and warmth to a unique quilt.
