From Bush to Sea

From Bush to Sea is a very special one of a kind quilt/coverlet. My inspiration started with the base fabric remnants from the Australian textile company Ink & Spindle. With these remnants I built the quilt around them as the colours and fabric quality stand for themselves. Once put together using natural fibres of cotton and linen hand quilting delicate threads of dusty pink, soft blue & cream added the final touch. This is a beautiful natural quilt show casing Ink & Spindles prints of the Australian bush.
